KamiTrack ("the app") is an activity tracking and task app operated by Kamizan Amirudin. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what control you have over it.
| Data | Why | When |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Identifies your account and lets you sign back in. | At sign-up. |
| Display name and profile picture | Shown to you, and to friends on leaderboards. | At sign-up, or from Google if you sign in that way. |
| Step counts | The core feature: your daily activity total and task auto-completion. | While the app is open, from your device's step sensor. |
| Location (GPS route) | Recording the route, distance and pace of a run you started. | Only while a run you explicitly started is in progress. |
| Device push token | Delivering reminders and friend notifications. | On first launch, if you allow notifications. |
| Height, weight and year of birth | Calculating calories burned and setting your activity goals. | When you enter them, and whenever you change them. |
| Gender (optional) | Shown on your profile. You may answer “rather not say”, which is a real answer and not the absence of one. Whichever you choose, it is visible only to subscribers — everyone else sees a question mark, and that mark looks identical whether you kept it private or they simply cannot see it. | Only if you choose to answer. |
| Messages you send | Delivering chat to the person you sent it to. | When you send a message. |
KamiTrack records location only during a run you started by tapping "Start Run", and only for as long as that run is active. While it is, Android shows a permanent notification so you always know recording is happening. Stopping the run stops the recording.
The app does not request background location access. It does not track you when no run is active, and it never records your location silently.
If you opt in to the neighbourhood leaderboard, your location is rounded to an approximate area of roughly one kilometre before it is stored. Your exact coordinates are never shared with other users, and the feature is off unless you turn it on.
Jamendo and Radio Browser receive your device's IP address when the app requests music or a station list, as any web request does. Neither is sent your account, your name, or anything you have recorded in the app.
Your account data is kept until you delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile, activity history, runs, tasks and messages. Push tokens are automatically removed after 180 days of inactivity.
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time:
Profile → More settings → Delete account. You are asked to
type DELETE to confirm, so it cannot happen by accident, and then it
is done — there is no waiting period and no need to contact anyone.
If you cannot reach the app — you have uninstalled it, or cannot sign in — email kamizan980505@gmail.com from the address on your account and the request is actioned within 30 days. What is removed, and the two narrow things that are kept, are listed in full on the account deletion page.
KamiTrack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email kamizan980505@gmail.com to exercise any of these.
If this policy changes materially, the app will show a notice before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
